Aquatic Program Director

We are seeking an energetic, passionate aquatic professional to join our team as Aquatic Program Director. This is a great position for a candidate looking to make an impact on kids and adults in our community on a daily basis.  We have a wide membership base that includes recreational swimmers, competitive athletes and everything in between.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

 

  • Supervise the operations of swim lesson program to ensure the highest level of programming and customer service
  • Teach a variety of swim classes including kids swim lessons, private lessons, competitive swim classes and masters swim
  • Recruit, hire and train new swim instructors
  • Develop swim lesson class schedule, assign instructors and continually monitor class enrollment
  • Ensure that the pool facilities and equipment are maintained by working with the maintenance staff
  • Work closely with facility manager and/or lifeguard supervisor

What we’re looking for: 

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in aquatics
  • Experience with coaching and competitive swimming 
  • Current CPR and Lifeguard Certification
  • Strong knowledge of proper swimming mechanics
  • Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Desire and capacity to teach all ages
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A team player with the ability to multi-task and stay organized

Masters Swim Coach

We are seeking an energetic and fun individual to join our Aquatic’s team.  This team member will coach Masters Swim classes.  The ideal candidate has prior competitive swim experience and must be a certified lifeguard or willing to become certified.  Prior experience teaching coaching Masters is a plus, but not necessary.

  • Due to current COVID protocols, face coverings must be worn while teaching

Aquatics Team Member

We are seeking an energetic and fun individual to join our Aquatic’s team.  This team member will teach Group Swim Lessons, Private Swim lessons and Lifeguard our pools.  The ideal candidate has prior competitive swim experience and must be a certified lifeguard. Prior experience teaching swim lessons is a plus, but not necessary.  Our team will train you to teach according to our Swim School curriculum. You bring your knowledge, personality and fun to each class.

Personal Trainer

We are seeking a Personal Trainer with a passion for working with people of all ages in their lifelong journey of health.  The ideal candidate has a current Personal Training or CSCS Certification and can offer 1-on-1 training, as well as in a small group.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Effectively train clients of a wide range of ages and abilities
  • Personal Training 1-on-1 as well as small group classes
  • Possibility of working in other areas of the Club based on experience 

What we’re looking for: 

  • Experience in the field working with clients of different ages and backgrounds
  • Reliable, hardworking and someone who can efficiently handle their own schedule
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills when working with clients as well as other staff and your director
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized
  • 4 year degree in a related field or some college classes in the field a huge plus
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Availability Monday-Friday daytime, evenings and weekends

Kids Club Team Member

We are seeking an energetic, dependable candidate who loves children to join our Kids Club Team.  The ideal candidate can commit to working 2 or more shifts per week, as well as sub.  We have various openings for scheduled afternoon shifts and subbing during the day, nights and weekends.  A minimum of 15 hours per month is required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Build trust in our members who leave their children in our care- a smiley, customer service oriented attitude is a must at all times
  • Interact and play with children who are a variety of ages
  • Keep the children in our care safe by identifying risky situations and minimizing them
  • Keep a clean and safe space for our members by performing cleaning tasks 
  • Enforce security by checking children in and out with our online system 
  • Ability to meet the basic needs of an infant (feed, change diapers, soothe)
  • Connect with members and their children to create an enthusiastic community 

What we’re looking for: 

  • Candidates must be at least 16 years of age and have basic child care education
  • Experience with children ages newborn to 13
  • A natural desire to be around children and a self motivated love of playing with them
  • Comfortable and confident interacting with children of a variety of ages
  • Ability to multi-task and supervise multiple children at at time
  • Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs and a height of up to 5 ft, walk up and down the stairs, and be able to get up and down from the floor many times per day
  • Computer literacy is important for checking in children, communication and payroll purposes
  • Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A minimum of 15 hours per month is required

Birthday Party Host

We are seeking an energetic, dependable candidate who loves children to join our Birthday Party Staff.  The ideal candidate can commit to working 2 or more parties per month, starting in August. Parties can happen on Friday evenings or Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Set up and clean up before and after each party
  • Enforce security by checking children in and out for each party 
  • Connect with members and their children and guests to create an enthusiastic event for the birthday child(ren)
  • Depending on party type, potentially playing games and setting up activities for children to participate in during the party

What We’re Looking For:

  • Candidates must be at least 16 years of age
  • Comfortable and confident interacting with adults and children of a variety of ages
  • Ability to multi-task and supervise many children at a time
  • Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs, set up folding tables, chairs and a bounce house, run around a gym, etc and walk up and down the stairs
  • Computer literacy is important for communication and payroll purposes
  • Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Certified Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid/AED a plus

Maintenance Team Member

We are seeking a permanent part-time person to join our Maintenance team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Availability 20+ hours per week as a cleaner and maintenance staff member
  • Sunday-Thursday, Overnight 11:00 pm – 6:00 am 
  • Duties may include but are not limited to: mopping floors; cleaning bathrooms; cleaning mirrors and windows; vacuuming; emptying trash; restocking of supplies and various other cleaning tasks that may arise
  • Experience with pool maintenance and upkeep a plus
