About Youth Fitness

It is never too early to develop healthy exercise habits.  At Harbor, we are known for our wide variety of group classes for kids of all ages from toddlers to teens.  These classes teach sportsmanship, respect, and team building skills and at the same time improve fitness levels through specialized activities.  Our offerings include strength and agility training, choreographed dance performance to music, or more sports-specific sessions such as swimming or racquetball lessons.

Our programs are designed help children develop positive behaviors at an early age. Kids grow up fast. Let Harbor help inspire them to train for life.

Supervised Gym ages 7+

This program offers kids ages 7-14 the opportunity to use the courts with supervision by members of our Youth Fitness team. Both the group exercise floor and the front of the Sport Court will be used.  Kids will be broken up into 2 groups: ages 7-9 and 10+. Gym shoes required, no flip flops or crocs.


Youth Dance FIT ages 7+

Get ready to dance, jump, move, and shake!  Dance FIT  is a combination of creativity based dances with a mix of aerobics to keep your superstar’s heart rate elevated. While learning about moving to a beat, we’ll be warming up all of our muscle groups with some stellar moves.  Wear comfortable shoes to dance in, and bring a water bottle.  


Youth Boxing by Canvas Club

Kids ages 8-13 learn proper boxing stance and punching technique along with cardio and strength conditioning in this fun 45-minute class.

Youth Conditioning

This Train for Life workshop was developed to help Middle School and High School age children with their strength, overall conditioning, and prevention of injuries. Our Youth Fitness team of Certified Personal Trainers will give personalized feedback to each participant because we know every growing body is different and has different needs. This class offers a fun and safe environment where kids can learn as they improve their skills. Participants will also work on muscle imbalances and use recovery and injury prevention techniques such as foam rolling and stretching. No prior training experience is required, this is a safe place for all.

Youth Weight Room Fundamentals

This Train for Life workshop is designed to help prepare Middle School and High School age children for exercise progressions in the weight room. The class will develop weight room etiquette and safety along with the introduction of exercises and progressions. Proper form and progressions are of utmost importance and will be developed each week. No prior training experience required, your coach will be able to customize the workouts for each individual.
